Good Evening, I am a resident of the EuroCenter Tower located on Tommaso Albinonistraat. I moved here two years ago with the intention of a calm, quiet, and safe home away from the city center where I used to live. Moving part of the red light district to my neighborhood is NOT a proper solution. By making it more accessible by car, you actually will increase the traffic of people coming in from out of town. This area of town is also quiet and dark, including the nearby two parks. This will allow and encourage illegal activities in these dark spaces, which currently aren't found in the city center. This creates a higher safety hazard for myself and my neighborhoods, one not anticipated when moving here. Lastly, this will impact the value of my home. Those who live in the current red light district have known the businesses were there, or moved in there so long ago the value of their homes has increased regardless. To suddenly impact my home value for a project that doesn't fully solve the issue is not sensible. I understand the need for a proper home for sex workers. But near family neighborhoods, regardless of how easily accessible they are, is not fair to the residents of the city and these neighborhoods, especially when most residents are strongly opposed. I do hope you will NOT allow the building to proceed.
