De groenste energie is die energie die wij niet misbruiken! In de bijlage een voorstel om dat aan te pakken, wel wetend dat energie de oorzaak van alles is, ook de aardopwarming en CO2 maakt het alleen nog maar slechter.

Het volgende heb ik recentelijk aan een politicus in Californië geschreven over het focussen op duurzaamheid / de opwarming van de aarde / het meten van uitwerkingen. Hier is “mijn” oplossing / aanpak: 1. We gaan ervan uit dat alles, goede en slecht, door energie veroorzaakt wordt. Ik hoop dat iedereen dat begrijpt. 2. De opwarming van de aarde wordt veroorzaakt door energie, gebruik en misbruik. Mijn beste vrienden geven de voorkeur aan kWh als eenheid. 3. Omdat ik alleen mijn gedrag kan veranderen, moet ik mijn impact op het gebied van energie kennen. Ik noem het EPE (Energie Populatie Equivalent, kWh per Persoon per jaar) en dat moet ik op iedere transactie zien. 4. Elk project, product, dienst heeft een bepaalde levensduur, een bepaalde hoeveelheid energie-input voor een bepaald aantal mensen. Als de input van ruwe energie 100 kWh is gedurende een productlevensduur van 10 jaar voor 10 personen, is de EPE 100/10/10 = 1 kWh / Persoon en jaar. Als een ander project/product/dienst 80 kWh inbrengt bij een levensduur van 5 jaar voor 10 personen is de EPE 80/5/10 = 1,4 kWh/Persoon en jaar en dus duidelijk meer. Op basis hiervan kunnen we producten en dus ook projecten vergelijken. En dus ... moeten producenten meer nadenken over de werkelijke levensduur van hun producten, diensten, projecten en over de ruwe energie die ze investeren. 5.

Natuurlijk moeten we ook kijken naar het operationele energieverbruik, onderhoud en reparatie. Gedurende de hele levensduur natuurlijk, maar dat is in veel gevallen persoonlijk controleerbaar, en dat kan ik zelf veranderen, hopelijk. 6. Het product dat gedurende zijn levensduur per persoon per jaar de minste input van ruwe energie heeft, moet hetgeen zijn dat de concurrentie wint. Bij onze economische overwegingen is het niet veel anders, alleen dat de geldwaarde niet reproduceerbaar is en varieert over tijd en plaats, en afhankelijk is van zoveel onvoorspelbare prijs- / kostenveranderingen / factoren. 7. Als we zouden beginnen met drievoudige boekhouding, dubbele boekhouding bestaat al, en we energie toevoegen, zouden we in staat zijn om snel al onze energie-effecten te beoordelen, en dus onze eigen impact op de opwarming van de aarde.

Energie is nog steeds de oorzaak van de opwarming van de aarde, en CO2, CH4, landschapsverandering, wateronttrekking, enz. versnellen het alleen maar. Dit was zijn antwoord: ik ben helemaal weg van je aanpak. Als we ons zorgen maken over de gevolgen voor de natuurlijke wereld, dan moeten we uiteindelijk de kringloop sluiten. We moeten onze energieproductie en -gebruik modelleren naar het voedsel-web of de voedselkringloop. Corrigeer me als ik het mis heb in mijn analogie. En... hij heeft gelijk. Nu volgt mijn oplossing op een “visitekaartje”, maar dat is nog in het Engels. Overigens … ideeën over de aanpak van mijn beste vrienden en mij zijn 2021 en 2022 ook op duurzamedinsdag.nl geaccepteerd. Die zijn op weg naar de regering, maar het duurt altijd zolang tot er, als er al, op gereageerd wordt. Mijn beste vrienden en ik wensen ons harde kritiek. Whether it is Greener Technology, Sustainability, a better Environment, Ecological Approaches, Net-Zero or Global Warming, it all depends on Energy, Use and Misuse, and ... we humans are the Cause or ... may be not, so ... let's proof it!

My best Friend's thinking inside this box: Our methodology in keywords: We are talking about facts, free market economy, driven by energy minimization, individual freedom, safeguarding basic needs, transparency, accountability with Rights and Duties I would love to start doing a good job, but unfortunately nobody can tell me where or with what better begins.

1. Words cannot solve our problems

2. Isn't all, Good and Bad is caused by Energy? So are products, services, environmental changes, pollution, natural changes, and climate change. The energy is still coming from the sun, via the plants to the animals. Our "waste" was closing the food cycle. 3. Global Warming is caused by Energy ... Use and Misuse My best friends prefer kWh as the unit 4. Since my behavior is all I can change, I need to see my impact on every transaction and this we call EPE (Energy Population Equivalent) in kWh per Person a Year

Every Product or Service has a certain Life Time, a certain amount of energy input for a certain number of people If the raw energy input is 100 for a life time of 10 years for 10 people, the EPE is 100/10/10 = 1 kWh/P.year If another project/product/service needs 70 kWh for a life time of 5 years and 10 people, the EPE is 70/5/10 = 1.4 kWh/P.year. On this basis, we can objectively compare products. So, ... producers have to learn to think carefully about the real life time and the real raw energy invested into their products/services/energy.

6. Of course, we also have to look into the energy for operation, maintenance and repair per year over the lifetime In many cases people have influence or control over this and they could also decide to stop operationany time, isn't it? Or ... look for better alternatives.

What is still missing, is a market mechanism to control or direct energy use with money as the driving force for economic growth, while hopefully securing minimal income, so that people no longer have to complain, steal, manipulate, etc. and can start contributing straightforward to a better world.

7. The product with least raw energy input over its life time should win the competition, and ... its price could be raised

10. Introduce an Energy Tax, similar to VAT or GCT

In our economic system, it is not much different, only that the money values are not reproducible, vary over time and place, and depend on so many unpredictable price/cost changes and factors

11. Return the Tax to all below average consumers

8. If we would start triple bookkeeping, double bookkeeping already exists, and add energy parallel to the money, we all would be able to quickly assess our energy impacts

12. Our Conclusion, Expectation, Summary

Energy is still the cause of global warming, and CO2, CH4, landscape change, lack of water, etc. only speed it up. Our approach is not as difficult as trying to monitor the food-web of our ecosystems. They don't have any form of currency to compete, apart from the competition for energy. Our ecosystems are always working optimally, unless we human take the water, the nutrients or organics away, or change the global or local air quality. From nature alone, 8 billion people cannot survive.

To raise awareness and carry personal responsibility

And that of course proportional to the amount below average.
