Irma has a passion for werking with monumental buildings and places full of history and heritage. Moreover, she is renown member of 'Commissie Welstand en Monumenten' In our home town Rotterdam. Characteristic to her work is the respect to the existing ldentity of a building or place. She is able to deliver long-lasting value creation through high-quality standards. With respect to historie features and complementary tactile materialisations and details, she Is able to identify maximum transformative capacity and development potential. She manages to embed a high degree of flexibility with regard to the program in the projects, so they retain their value for years to come. With a focus on sustainability, community-building and well­ being, she is committed to creating future-oriented and user-friendly living and worklng environments. Thus she Is able to develop and incorporatlng strong and lnspiring new concepts for future-oriented and user-frlendly living and working environments. As she masters both the urban and architectural discipline, she secures engagement between buildlngs and public spaces, whlle seamlessly lntegrating buildings and areas into their wider context. Since the fermer military site of Metejki is anything but a 'tabula rasa', she is most enthusJastic about shaping a new future for the concerned historie buildings.

Irma was extensively involved In the transformatlon of 'GWL-terrein', creating the first sustainable and car-free neighbourhood in the Netherlands. As princlpal architect. Irma is also responsible for the transformation of former industrlal 'Cruquiuselland' Jnto a mixed-use residential area and two iconlc bulldings In Overhoeks, Amsterdam. Besldes she is currently leading the design teams tor transformation of the national monuments 'StationspostgebouW at The Hague HS station and 'Droog bak' in close proximity to Amsterdam Central station.

Bio Jarrik Ouburg Jarrik Ouburg (1975) studeerde architectuur aan de Technische Universiteit in Delft (NL) en de Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule in Zürich (CH). In 2001 won hij met zijn afstudeerproject de Archiprix International. Hij werkte voor E2A in Zürich (CH), De Architecten Cie. in Amsterdam, Toyo Ito & Associates in Tokio (JP) en Xaveer de Geyter Architecten in Brussel (BE) voordat hij zijn eigen bureau OJO in Amsterdam oprichtte. Sinds 2017 is hij samen met Freyke Hartemink en Carsten Hilgendorf partner van HOH Architecten. Het werk van HOH richt zich op alle schaalniveaus van het stedelijke landschap met projecten die varieren van interieurs en tentoonstellingen tot gebouwen en stedenbouwkundige plannen. HIj was met een Monbusho-beurs als ‘research fellow’ verbonden aan het Tokyo Institute of Technology (JP). Hij is actief in het onderwijs en was als docent of criticus verbonden aan onder andere de TU Delft, Design Academy Eindhoven, Academie van Bouwkunst in Amsterdam, Academy of Architecture in Mumbai (IN), Universita dela Svizzera in Mendrisio (CH) en de KU Leuven in Gent en Brussel (BE). Van 2012 tot 2016 was hij het hoofd van de afdeling Architectuur aan de Academie van Bouwkunst in Amsterdam. In die periode richtte hij het onderzoek ‘Tabula Scripta’ op waar hij na zijn periode als hoofd als research fellow aan verder werkte.

Het onderzoek resulteerde eind 2020 in het boek ‘Rewriting Architecture – 10+1 Actions’. Hij wordt regelmatig gevraagd als spreker, criticus of om deel te nemen in selectiecommissies van prijzen en prijsvragen.
