Superuse heeft een monumentale school verbouwd tot galerie en studios. Als ontmoetingsplek voor gebruikers en omwonenden is een paviljoen met café gebouwd. De geoogste houten spanten markeren de entree en verdelen de ruimte.

The two worlds of fruit and leather are combined where the waste of the fruit industry is used to radically change the world of the polluting leather industry. Our aim is that Fruitleather can be made into footwear and fashion accessories and can be used in the interior and furnishing industry.

Maasplaat is a project for Citylab010. This project aims to make good use of left-over seaweed-fibres after valuable proteins are extracted. A process was designed so that fibreboards can be made without the use of harmful chemical glues. Instead, it makes use of the strong natural binding properties of the seaweed itself. The result is Maasplaat.

Better Future Factory, BlueCity (Rotterdam)

New Marble is a sustainable tile brand making new tiles from old PET bottles. 1m2 of New Marble is made from 302 plastic bottles and the tiles are fully recyclable, it is the best tile for a new circular designed world. The tiles are included in some iconic projects like the first circular bathroom of The Netherlands and in the floating Recycled Park, in Rotterdam, made from bottles collected from the river Maas. Both tile designs and the recycling technology are developed by Better Future Factory.
